What is Training & Awareness?

Psychoeducation is the systematic process of educating individuals with mental, behavioural, and developmental disorders, their families, and occasionally staff members. Here in Auesome Kids Behavioural Services, we provide Autism Psychoeducation to the caregivers of autistic children, which involves their parents, teachers and families. 

We create awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders by organising events, activities and talks at school and home-based therapy. Our training involves the school teachers (teacher's training) who are directly involved with a autistic child (Ex. The class teacher and the subject teachers) and also the parents (parental training). 

The main aim for us to conduct these trainings are to ensure that both parents and the teachers, also the other caregivers who are directly involved with the autistic children, knows the challenges of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental issues, who have the proper resources to help in the child's learning, development and other aspects, let it be in the school environment or at home.
